ETHANOL orETHYL ALCOHOL

The chemical formula of ethyl alcohol is CH₃CH₂OH, which can be produced through chemical synthesis or by fermenting starch- and sugar-based raw materials using microorganisms. It is commonly used as a precursor for producing other chemicals or applied directly in various industries—for example, as a solvent, in beverages, and as a fuel.
