Thip Kamphaeng Phet Sugar Co., Ltd.
Located in Bueng Samakkhi District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, the company’s operations span a total of three districts: Bueng Samakkhi District, Kamphaeng Phet Province Khlong Khlung District, Kamphaeng Phet Province Sai Thong Watthana District, Kamphaeng Phet Province Situated amidst one of the country’s largest and most important sugarcane cultivation areas, the company applies high regional production standards and modern manufacturing technology. Production began in 2012/2013 with a capacity of 18,000 tons of sugarcane per day, which was subsequently expanded to 36,000 tons per day in 2014/2015 to accommodate the continuous supply of sugarcane from trusted local farmers.
Thip Sukhothai Sugar Co., Ltd.
Originally known as Uttaradit Sugar Factory, located in Wang Phi Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit District, Uttaradit Province, it was a small state-owned sugar mill with a production capacity of 3,000 tons of sugarcane per day under the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry. It was the second sugar factory established in Thailand in 1941, during the administration of Field Marshal Phraya Phahonphonphayuhasena, the country’s second Prime Minister. The government privatized the factory in 1998. The company relocated the Uttaradit Sugar Factory to Ban Tuek and Dong Khu Subdistricts, Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province. This area features fertile land and high-sugar-content sugarcane, allowing Thip Sukhothai Sugar Factory to consistently rank among the top sugar factories in Thailand in terms of production efficiency. This move has also increased local farmers’ income by encouraging sugarcane cultivation over other crops.
Suphanburi Sugar Industry
Located in Yan Yao Subdistrict, Sam Chuk District, Suphan Buri Province, the factory was originally a state-owned sugar mill under the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, established in 1956. The government privatized the factory in 1998. It became the first producer of refined white sugar in 1972 using the refinery system. Currently, the factory is capable of producing specialty sugars, including high-quality raw sugar J-SPEC and VHP, for export.
